ECAC maintains two locations for helicopter tours 1) from Hanscom Field in Bedford MA, right in the middle of Minuteman National Historical Park and a short drive from downtown Boston, and 2) from Norwood Memorial Airport in Norwood, MA, convenient to the south shore and western suburbs.

Helicopter tours of Boston, Massachusetts from Norwood Airport

Boston City Tour – see one of the world’s most beautiful cities from a unique vantage point. We have a river, a harbor filled with ships, skyscrapers, parks, universities, and impressive bridges. Approach Boston from the southwest, fly the Fenway route, see downtown Boston and the waterfront, Beacon Hill, Back Bay, Fenway Park, Boston University, the Charles River, the Seaport District, then south past Dorchester, Quincy, Braintree, and west over the Blue Hills: $299; two-person minimum (30- 45 minutes).  $20 off this tour until April 30, 2018.

Gillette Stadium Tour – Fly to Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots. Circle Patriot Place and return to Norwood: $199, two-person minimum (15 minutes). $20 off this tour until April 30, 2018.

Gillette Stadium and Boston City Tour: Combine the two tours above. $399, two person minimum (40-50 minutes). $20 off this tour until April 30, 2018.

Helicopter tours of South Shore from Norwood Airport

South Shore Tour:  Fly to Marshfield, MA and up the coast to Cohasset along the south shore beaches, then back to Norwood. $399, two person minimum (40-50 minutes). $20 off this tour until April 30, 2018.

  • Photos are encouraged – so bring a camera!
  • The best time of the day to fly: Mornings are typically the smoothest. Evening flights are also smooth, plus you may enjoy a beautiful sunset and the lights of downtown Boston are beautiful.
East Coast Aero Club provides high-quality flight instruction and aircraft rental. Our fleet includes over 40 aircraft, including two multi-engine airplanes and two Robinson helicopters, maintained by our staff of aviation maintenance technicians. We have over 25 certified flight instructors at three locations, offering instruction for Private and Commercial Pilot Certificates, as well as Instrument and Multi-Engine ratings.
