Courses & Programs

East Coast Aero Club is committed to being your flight training partner and helping your dreams of becoming a pilot take flight!  Please review the following flight training programs we offer from both our Bedford, MA, Nashua, NH and Norwood, MA locations to learn more.

Private Pilot Flight Training
The private pilot certificate is typically the first “pilot’s license” an aspiring pilot will obtain.

Instrument Rating Flight Training
The instrument rating is an excellent addition to any pilot certificate, whether you are looking to become a professional pilot or are just a weekend warrior.
Commercial Pilot Flight Training
A commercial pilot certificate is beneficial for both career-oriented pilots as well as hobbyists.
Multi-Engine Aircraft Flight Training
The multi-engine rating can be added on to a private or commercial certificate. The multiengine rating certifies the pilot to operate twin-engine aircraft.
Complex Endorsement Flight Training
The complex endorsement is relatively easy to obtain, yet affords a pilot the ability to fly a wider range of aircraft. A complex aircraft is defined as any aircraft that possesses flaps, retractable landing gear and constant speed propeller(s).

Flight Instructor (CFI) Training
CFIs are responsible for teaching pilots how to fly as well as ensuring that certificated pilots maintain their proficiency.
Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII) Training
CFIIs are responsible for teaching pilots how to fly in instrument conditions as well as ensuring that instrument rated pilots maintain their proficiency.
Multi-Engine Flight Instructor (MEI) Training
MEIs are responsible for teaching pilots how to fly multi-engine aircraft as well as ensuring that certificated pilots maintain their proficiency.
